Anatomy is one of my top subjects! I have completed the anatomy course for medical school.

Since memorizing usually helps for short term memory, I create ways to understand and remember ideas that are easy and fun to learn. By using methods used by World Memory Championship competetors and by star Kaplan instructors, I make remembering easy and painless. With this method, it is harder to forget what you learn!
I have a bachelors degree in biology from Augusta State University, and I am currently a third year medical student. I have tutored biology majors and nursing students in the past with great results. As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Early this year, I began tutoring advanced math to middle school kids and found it to be a rejuvenating to see young minds eagerly waiting to be academically challenged.
During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective. While working as a private tutor, I was able to work one-on-one with an emotionally troubled teen, which helped me to learn that everyone learns at different speeds and in different ways. I was able to implement several learning strategies, until we found one that was most conducive to his learning. During my peer tutoring time at Brevard College, I had the opportunity to work with a handful of special needs students, including a form of autism.
