I hold an MA in sociology with a minor in history. My primary focus in sociology is race and ethnicity, social theory, and political sociology. I am a current PhD student in history with a focus on European and Middle Eastern history. I also have over ten years experience teaching English language in the US and abroad. I find that children are more capable of learning in a stable environment that they are familiar with. Children respond well with well timed incentives and subtle reprimands of lost focus.
