As a graduate, I've been very blessed to have received a degree in Business Communication. In college I learned how to become a better educator, and communicate with them on the highest level. Although, I tutor in all of the academic areas, I also enjoy helping my student appreciate the art of becoming a good writer, and thinkers. My students are also encouraged to read for relaxation, and entertainment. Making the education process fun is also an asset. The extensive course work, I received in college has enabled me to teach others to become academically proficient.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have many years esperience as an analyst, manager, executive, consultant, intructor, tutor, and teaching assistant. I am in three Who's Whos, 1 WW in US Colleges and Universites, 2 WW Among Executives and Consultants, 3 WW website for Martial Artists.
I let each student show me how best to teach them by watching thier responses but as an overall apporach I teach them by tying to find out what is blocking them form understanding something then I teachthem how to reason their way around it. My goal as a tutor is to build the confidence of my students. I teach by extracting the information that they already know and offering supplemental information when necessary. I try to make math safe, fun, and interesting for each student I work with.
Since 2004 I have been working in the Math Learning Center at Cabrillo College. I tutor a wide variety of math levels, ranging from pre-algebra through differential equations. In the years I have worked there I have become well known as a tutor who can help a student with any question they have.
