I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind. I have spent a few semesters as a tutor and volunteer assistant in a local elementary school. In Nassau, Bahamas, after graduating from high school in 2006, my grandmother encouraged me to take an Adobe Photoshop class that was being held at a nearby Technical School. I had know clue of how powerful a tool Photoshop was, but I thought I'd give attending that class a try because my grandmother told me that graphic design was the industry of the future. I fell in love with Photoshop's photo-manipulation capabilities, and I crashed about 3 computers in that year playing with this powerful design software like a kid with a coloring book. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children. I've taught acting at the Durham Arts Council for three years. The duties from that position included directing students in performances which I helped them create. The plays were written around themes chosen by the camp director. So, in essence, the children and I would research those themes and develop stories which I would then turn into plays using my expertise. Those plays would be performed every two weeks for the entire summer. I was responsible for preparing three classes for this project simultaneously.
