Microsoft Excel is one of my top subjects! I specialize in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). In my opinion Excel is one of the most under used tools in the work place. I have multiple years of experience in a manufacturing setting applying Excel to perform a wide range of data collection and analyzation tasks as well as building dashboards. I have used such Excel tools as charts and graphs, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and recorded macros to accomplish these tasks.

My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I have taken this class in high school as well as college twice.

I am almost finished at Cleveland Community College with my teacher degree in childhood education for children with special needs. I have more then 6 years of college education under my belt because I love to learn, and also because all the different possible courses that a person can take at a community college. I believe that everyone learns information at a different pace and that some information is easier to process than other information. I believe that individuals should be comfortable while learning in order for them to actually learn. A Little Bit About Me...

I studied Biology at Warren Wilson College in hopes of becoming a high school biology teacher. While at college, I did over one hundred hours of service tutoring and mentoring high school and middle school students in Buncombe County. If I were to sum my "style" of teaching up, it would be "patience with determination". Perhaps my best achievment is with my wife who recently graduated from A-B Tech. Kate has always had a block toward anything mathematic. She had one course between her and graduation, college algebra! The bottom line here is that I patiently stuck through this course treatment with her to a successful completion, she completed the course and graduated with a well earned "C" or a 78%. With patience and determination shared together with the student, impediments like a dread for math can be overcome.
