A Little Bit About Me...

I've been teaching college and high school level mathematics for over 6 years. I have been tutoring math and sciences over a decade. I've worked as a Statistician private contractor for about a year for Hospira and Partners BHM, and I worked in math education software design for about a year as a content editor and tester.

My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I have taken this class in high school as well as college twice.

I am almost finished at Cleveland Community College with my teacher degree in childhood education for children with special needs. I have more then 6 years of college education under my belt because I love to learn, and also because all the different possible courses that a person can take at a community college. Microsoft Excel is one of my top subjects! I specialize in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). In my opinion Excel is one of the most under used tools in the work place. I have multiple years of experience in a manufacturing setting applying Excel to perform a wide range of data collection and analyzation tasks as well as building dashboards. I have used such Excel tools as charts and graphs, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and recorded macros to accomplish these tasks.

A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor.
