One of the greatest joys in my life in teaching. Previous teachers influenced my life immensely and likewise, I want to influence the next generation. I have a passion for reading and books, and I want to pass along that passion for others. I tend to be laid-back and easy-going in my teaching style, but I keep my students focused when they get distracted or begin daydreaming. Learning is more caught than taught. During my undergrad I spent a year in Peru, South America learning and studying Spanish. When I returned from Peru, I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Spanish.
