I am a 2011 graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science. During my education, I was exposed to many subjects, ranging from Electrical Engineering to European Literature. The most important things I learned during my time there were time management and study skills, because without a strong foundation in those subjects, one can not excel in others.

A Little Bit About Me...

I use a variety of teaching styles, i.e cooperative learning, learning centers, interactive learning, sight and tactile learning. The school system I am in emphasizes Differentiated Instruction. I believe I make a difference in student's lives both educationally and as a role model.
My experience as a teacher began when I was in the U.S. Navy, I was an Financial and Department Training instructor. After retiring from the Navy I went to work in the school system as a security assistant. After one year I resigned and went to Norfolk State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major concentration in Learning Disabled and a minor in Emotionally Disturbed.
