I earned both my Masters' and Bachelors' degrees with honors from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. During my academic I learned to excel in everything I do, which help me master the accounting knowledge I have today. While at SIUC, I was also involved in many student organizations such as Beta Alpha Psi, Accounting Society, and NABA. A Little Bit About Me...

Because of my elementary background, it is safe to say I am a very patient person and I use that skill in my ability. I allow the children to create their own paths and when there are roadblocks we work together to find a solution. I am not in the habit of giving students the answers. I feel education is most effective when self discovery is involved and I want my students to feel that they are learning and achieving in every way possible. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models. This is an uncreative and highly unnatural way to learn. There's a reason no major discovery was made in a classroom -- true innovation, discovery and learning is an organic process.
