With writing, I prefer that your child do a rough draft before meeting with me so that I can show them what they are doing wrong and how to fix it. In high school, I was frequently the one that people came to for help. It was then that I realized I was extremely good at teaching. My senior year, I spent all day helping four different math teachers, one of which was frequently absent. In order to keep her class from falling behind, she had me make notes and go over practice problems with her classes.
