I have been a substitute teacher and tutor for general education and special education students of the Williamson County School District. Before that, I was working with adults and students in a ministry environment back in Texas as a worship leader and music teacher. My education has centered around music, theology, and literature primarily (with a general exposure to various other sciences). As a tutor, I find that it is important to present the material to the students in a way that they can relate to. My job as an educator is to teach them how to learn it and make them want to learn it. I personally do not believe that negative reinforcement is beneficial.
