I am a retired FBI Agent, with both a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctorate. As an Agent, I learned to speak fluent Russian and speak it to this day. Since retirement six years ago I have been tutoring and coaching my son, who is handicapped. He is highly intelligent but learns a little bit differently, so I have worked hard with him to teach him to read, learn math and grammar. He cannot write, so everything he learns is by memory. In public schools, I have taught all grades 7-12. I have taught high school physics, high school chemistry, high school biology, 7th grade science. I received a minor in chemistry that required me to also take the calculus series in high school. I have also taken some higher levels of math in college such as Differential Equations. I have also taught all levels of band from beginners to high school. I perform in two different groups. I enjoy playing jazz the most. I have a background in psychology that qualifies me to function as a counselor in public schools. I am often described as laid back.
