I have taught an array of Biology courses at College level for over 10 years. During my time as a Graduate student at Louisiana State University, I have taught college freshman and have tutored high school students. After receiving my PhD, I taught Biology at Rogers State University. I am very comfortable teaching a wide array of Biology courses. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is "one-on-one" for the most part. My first instinct with tutoring is empathetic: if I were struggling in this particular subject, what would be the best way for me to understand it? If this method proves ineffective, I would choose a different technique. I am a visual learner so I often teach visually. I spent ten years as a meteorologist and oceanographer, with tours of duty in the US and abroad. When expanded, this means presenting students with the bigger picture and relating topics to subjects of understanding, which is applicable in any field.
