My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I am a College Professor (History, Philosophy, Ethics, English) with many years of tutoring experience. I have taught Middle School Social studies and I have helped many students to succeed academically. am patient and understanding.

I love learning to be a student and to teach.

I have taught in both high school the last 7 years and college for 2 years teaching reading and writing. I have taught English in the summers 2007-2010 to International Students. I have taught reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary. I have done prep for the HSPA prior to the test. All the students do three projects and with mp4 movies have been tape recorded and uploaded to my blog. Every child can learn, just not in the same way!

I am an Elementary school teacher for 6 years. I have my BA in Psychology, from Rutgers University, and hold my teaching certificate for Elementary K-6 and Special Education K-12. My comments on tutoring Social Studies : Substituted in Multiple Social Studies Classes

I prefer a Lecture Based Style utilizing visuals such as detailed maps, art depiction of historical moments, as well as videos of First-Hand Accounts of what occurred during discussions involving modern times.
Currently enrolled as a Substitute Teaching for the Philadelphia School District since February 2018. Tutored International for World Civilization II Class at Brookdale Community College for the Fall 2017 Semester.
