My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I am a College Professor (History, Philosophy, Ethics, English) with many years of tutoring experience. I have taught Middle School Social studies and I have helped many students to succeed academically. am patient and understanding.

I am an Elementary school teacher for 6 years. I have my BA in Psychology, from Rutgers University, and hold my teaching certificate for Elementary K-6 and Special Education K-12. Prior to being a teacher, I have worked for an outreach program, working one to one with Autistic and Down Syndrome students. My comments on tutoring Social Studies : Substituted in Multiple Social Studies Classes

Currently enrolled as a Substitute Teaching for the Philadelphia School District since February 2018. Tutored International for World Civilization II Class at Brookdale Community College for the Fall 2017 Semester. In Fall 2017 and Winter 2018 was involved in the evaluation of both Philadelphia and Atlantic City Pre-K Programs which included the testing of students and gathering stress data for both Teachers and Students.
I prefer a Lecture Based Style utilizing visuals such as detailed maps, art depiction of historical moments, as well as videos of First-Hand Accounts of what occurred during discussions involving modern times.
