I believe in getting a good education. I was in the Unites States Navy for 16 years. I joined the military right out of high school. I received my Certificate in Management, Associate of Arts degree, and Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland College Park, Maryland while traveling and serving on active duty for my country. I have mentored and worked with many after school programs.
I am great at teaching youth and adults alike in getting the best education and setting goals. I am always excited about helping someone learn something new and training them different methods of learning and retaining the knowledge. I believe that success comes through education. The area of "words" fascinate me, and I have continued improving my knowledge of the English language over the years. When I was earning my Juris Doctorate, I received the grade of "A" on many papers along with winning the coveted "Highest Grade Award" in my Legal Research and Writing class. A Little Bit About Me...

During the years of 1998 through 2000, I volunteered to help tutor students in subjects from math and science. My goal in teaching was to teach how to grasp the information and make to where they can put pieces together and solve/answer any questions in their lessons. I was a tutor in MSU helping teach the basic accounting skills to non-accounting majors.
I am always someone who finishes what he starts. Since 1995, I always wanted to be an accountant as well as becoming certified CPA. I have 2 years experience in auditing from bankplus, and a year with the Ms Emergency Management Agency. I also have experience as a financial analyst.

I have earned both a degree in English and a master of business administration. I am currently a CPA examination candidate, and I have passed two sections of the exam. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals, and I have been active in tutoring fellow students in the past few years. Many students I have helped have vastly improved their test scores and understanding of the subject matter.
I teach others by first trying to understand the way that person learns best. If I find that one way does not work for that student, I will try a different approach. I have found that many students have an easier time grasping basic understanding by using real life examples to which they can relate.
