My name is Katie and I am excessively fond of literature, poetry and especially Shakespeare. When I was 13 years old I saw Romeo and Juliet and have been a literature addict ever since. This is why I am an English major who is now a couple of courses into her Master's literature program. My dream is to one day be a professor of Romanticism Literature. My favorites are Jane Austen, the Brontes' and Shakespeare as well as the romantic poets like (Byron, Keats and Shelly) but nearly having my English degree has introduced me to others as well. As a graduate from the Oregon Institute of Technology I have had an in depth education in math, physics, and electronics with a healthy supply of technical writing. While in school I was able to help other fellow students in their math classes, much as I did when I was in high school.
