While this degree was not a typical teaching degree, it incorporated a significant amount of educational theory, communication skills, and developmental psychology which I have used as a mentor, Sunday school teacher, and tutor. As a graduate from Cochise College in Sierra Vista, I was a T.A for two years at Center for Academic Success High School (I have a finger-print clearance card). I worked with high-risk teenagers, helped keep them encouraged, and was extremely attentive to their needs. I excelled in helping them with Language Arts and English.
