Any tutors goal is to guide a child to a learning experience within that childs comfort zone. An educator, with a calm and patient demeanor can lead a child to their goal. Laughter and discovery are the heart of educating any student. My goal is to lead a student to his or her potential.

I have had an opportunity to teach every grade level from Pre-K through college seminars. I take pride in helping students understand difficult material. As a writer and artist, my focus has always been in journalism, literature and related fields. I have earned both a bachelor's and master's degree, BFA in Creative Writing, MA in English literature with a focus on folklore. With a love for the French language, I have studied it for more than six years at the college level and was certified as proficient in reading, writing and speaking the language for my MA. I am a widely published author with impeccable grammatical and writing skills. I tutored for one year at the college level and taught for five in the College for Kids program at a community college in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Positive reinforcement and making learning fun are my main goals when it comes to instruction. I want students to be excited when they know I have the next lesson waiting for them. I encourage participation and take every mistake as a learning experience.
