Vocals is one of my top subjects!

Throughout all my years in school, I was a Choir student. I was in my school's top varsity choirs and took a few years of music theory. I would help other students prepare for competitions, or simply help them with other things, whether it was vocal issues or things like reading music. I know much about both Classical Training and Contemporary Training. Also, I tutored many classmates in math, whether it was during my math class, during my lunch period, or after school hours, helping my teachers with giving after school tutoring.

Hands-On Learning

I'm currently enrolled in Kaplan University pursuing my certification to become a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions. I have completed High School and obtained my Diploma in 2014. I am currently tutoring a middle school student (8th grade) in all given subjects. I range from simple homework help to comprehension of certain subjects.
I love to interact with children. I believe that children should be involved with their school work. Hands on work and visual interactions help when certain curriculums don't sink in. I have known since I was 5 years old that I wanted to teach and work with young children. I am a very down to earth person especially when it comes to kids. I always try to lighten up the mood and make learning things interesting and fun. I don't like to dismiss when I see a child having trouble in something. Every person has a different way of learning, I try to cater to each of their needs.
I have tutored children in reading last summer. It was one of the most gratifying things I have done. I worked with English as second language children ranging from ages 5 to 13. We used a lesson plan and several activities to help children in achieving their reading level goals.
