I have more than 20 years of teaching experience students in grades 7-12. I currently teach 10th grade English and work part-time with Han Academy. I have more than ten years experience teaching Advanced Placement Language and Composition, Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, ACT/SAT Prep, history, journalism, public speaking, and dramatic events. I love to learn and help others to learn. Different people learn differently; therefore, I present material in a number of ways until I discover how the tutee learns. With that information and plenty of patience everyone learns their own way and at their own speed. My goal is to not only help students improve their grades but to also learn the material.
I am a fall graduate from Troy University and will be graduating with honors. I am currently a peer tutor at Troy in biology and math (algebra). I have tutored privately before in high school math (algebra and geometry. I graduated 9th in my high school with honors earning an advanced diploma with an honor's seal. I love school and love to learn. I will be enrolled in Amridge University in January to pursue my master's degree.
