I am a recently graduated IB/AP student. I have been a volunteer tutor almost everyday for the past four years and have tutored elementary, middle and high school students, even though I prefer elementary. I have a 4.03 gpa and exceed both academically and socially. I pride upon my interpersonal skills and my caring and patient attitude. During the session I encourage the student's learning by asking open-ended questions to encourage critical thinking. With writing assignments, the pen is always in the student's hand and, with guidance, the student makes choices about his or her writing.
