I am a very interactive teacher. I want feedback so I can see the progress the student is making. If they are not getting something, I make adjustments and change tactics. I teach tot he student(s). Everyone learns differently. And sometimes by the time I get to them student, it has nothing to do with their ability but more their confidence because of previously bad experiences. Math and Physics tutor

I have just finished junior year of high school and will be a senior this fall. Throughout my life I have always been especially good at math. I never fail to get an A in math every year. In 10th grade I decided to skip Pre-Calculus from Algebra 2 to AP Calculus BC when I enter 11th grade. Interestingly, I still found AP Calculus BC to be relatively easy. I am the vice president of a tutor club at La Costa Canyon High School. I teach students after school all subjects. I also tutored students outside of school. During my junior year I tutored a girl in Pre-Algebra who did not understand how graphs work. I also tutored a high-schooler in Pre-Calculus two weeks ago who had a final in two days. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I am a writer of prose and poetry and encourage students to be creative writers.

I believe a strong emphasis on spelling, grammar and comprehension is key to future learning. I approach these subjects from different angles so that it does stay interesting. I believe in bolstering self confidence and yet encourage students to put effort into their lessons.
I have taught grades 3 and six as part of my internship in Messina, New York. I tutored third grade children in remedial reading as a private business. After raising my own children and working in industry I returned to teaching. I taught ESL to adults in Boston, MA and as part of Literacy,Inc in Escondido, CA.
