A Little Bit About Me...

I am a high school student living in Madison AL, 35758. I am sixteen (16) years old I have passed Algebra 2 w/Trig and any lower math i will be able to teach. I am skilled in teaching C and C++ programming having taken multiple classes passing with an A average. I am also a JROTC student and have taken the ASVAB, scoring an 85. I can help with all section except engineering and science. I have taught my younger brother and his friends along with other high school students. I am good with kids and approach each student with a mind set to teach in a manner that will help them understand.

I graduated from Pisgah High School where I was in the Advanced program. I was required to enroll in the Advanced Math Program (Pre-cal) and Physics. I was also a part of the Math Team for four years and the Beta Club for eight years. As a student at Northeast, I earned a A.S. in Industrial Electronics, as well as, a Long Certificate in Electronics. I've been tutoring my brother-n-law in math for the three years while enrolled at the ITT-Technical Institute in Madison, AL. I graduated from Wake Forest in 2008, double-majoring in Mathematics and Physics. I also took some courses in the Education Department, and substitute taught for public high schools and middle schools in Winston-Salem, NC and Metairie, LA. I have worked in tutoring programs for elementary school children approximately twice a week for a total of twelve months. I have recently learned HTML, PHP, and Javascript programming languages, and am the designer and programmer for the Facebook application Harry Potter House Sort.
I think educators must take into account the different ways in which students learn. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of the University of Louisville I feel I have developed a knowledge base to further my career. I earned a BA in a subject that I greatly enjoy to study, History. Within the arts I was able to focus on humanities and cultural interaction. Along with these classes I took many general courses to broaden my focus beyond my degree. Most of my college career I was reading, researching, and writing papers that furthered my written communication skills.
