I love discovering each individual student and the way to help them learn. My goal is to help students become inspired by their subject matter so that it can play a role in their lives as well as their test scores.
I have led several small groups of teenagers and young adults in Biblical studies at Prairie Hill Evangelical Free Church, several musical groups in practicing and performing, and a summer-long book club at Crown College. Experienced. Effective. The logical choice.

As a tutor of student athletes at Indiana University, I tutored students from all walks of life. I began by tutoring Biology and Spanish but the need for tutors in English, Writing, Chemistry and Statistics soon arose and I stepped up to fill those positions. Using previous knowledge from AP classes in high school, as well as recent knowledge gained from my classes, I was able to successfully convey new information in easy to understand and applicable terms to these students. Everyone is different so the first lesson is always about finding the best way to teach that student. The three different ways that people learn are hearing, seeing, and doing but different combinations work better for different children. I believe that all children can meet their potential if they can be taught in an appropriate method. Children should be limited by their own preferences and not by a subject's "difficulty".
