I am a graduate of BS Mathematics and currently pursuing my master's degree. I have also been a lecturer for a year right after graduating. I am also a tutor in a tutorial center here in the Philippines. I teach high school and elementary students in almost all subjects but my expertise is on Math. I love to impart my knowledge to people that's why I have a passion for teaching and very patient about it. I only teach online on an hourly basis. When I teach I don't just answer the questions my students ask of me rather let them understand it for themselves. I don't have one specific teaching style... I believe the style should be developed based on observing how the student learns best. One style would not be successful with all students. I like to spend a couple of weeks trying out methods and seeing which ones work best, then develop a method that specially fits your students learning ability. I have five plus years experience in tutoring students of all ages in all areas of math. I have tutored in math ranging from pre-algebra to calculus, and I also have experience in working with students with learning disabilities. I just recently graduated California State University with a degree in Liberal Studies. Within this degree I chose to emphasize on mathematics because I want to become a high school math teacher.
