Experience Summary
I am a recently retired college and university Mathematics Professor, and have taught secondary school and
"high school completion" Mathematics courses to the Navy Recruits as well. I have taught Mathematics courses to students of all ages: Elementary Schools(as a "Mathematics specialist"), Secondary Schools(Middle Schools/High Schools), through Colleges and Universities as a Mathematics Professor. And now that I am a retired Mathematics Educator, would like to help students of ALL AGES to excel in Mathematics the best I can.
Teaching Style
I use an innovative mode of teaching Mathematics - about which I wrote my Dissertation - that is a unique combination of the "Socratic" or "Discovery Method" and "Positive Reinforcement" techniques.This approach enables students of all ages to think independently, become interested and eager to discover facts and solution methods and procedures of various Mathematical topics and problem solving procedures. This teaching mode helps the student(s) to become independent and "eager to learn Mathematics" individual(s).
