Experience Summary
I have just finished junior year of high school and will be a senior this fall.
Throughout my life I have always been especially good at math. I never fail to get an A in math every year. In 10th grade I decided to skip Pre-Calculus from Algebra 2 to AP Calculus BC when I enter 11th grade. Interestingly, I still found AP Calculus BC to be relatively easy.
I am the vice president of a tutor club at La Costa Canyon High School. I teach students after school all subjects.
I also tutored students outside of school. During my junior year I tutored a girl in Pre-Algebra who did not understand how graphs work. I also tutored a high-schooler in Pre-Calculus two weeks ago who had a final in two days. I came to his house and tutored him for a total of 15 hours (he needed lots of help) in those two days.
Teaching Style
Very patient. Usually I will explain the concept, present a practice problem, and double check to make sure he or she understands how to do it. But if possible, I will teach differently in the most effective way.
