As an educator, especially in mathematics, I want my students to not just arrive at the right answer, but understand the process, as well. I want students to have a solid foundation in number theory. I also want them to see the connection between the more elementary levels of mathematics and the more abstact higher levels. I usually spend some time and effort working on the organizational skills of the student, especially if I notice a weakness there. My approach is to alleviate that frustration by going through the steps slowly and demonstrating these steps several times.
