My teaching style is very matter-of-fact and flexible. Some students learn by listening, others by reading, and still more by doing. It is my job to determine which students need which type of teaching. It's important to never let the student feel I am judging his abilities in a negative manner while still making sure he learns from his mistakes.
When getting my Bachelor's degree, English was my chosen major. I chose the subject because I love to read and write, and excel at both of those things. A Little Bit About Me...

Having graduated with a Master's degree in Education,and a Pre-Med in Liberal Arts, I had been involved in various line of work, including a Pharmacy technician, medical interpreter, and tutor for adult classes in Spanish. Such experiences helped me decide to devote the last 20 yrs. as a Spanish teacher in a Public Schools System.
For me, there is nothing more rewarding in the field of education than to see the enthusiastic and motivated faces of children who are learning new concepts through the hands-on method. I often use my backgroung in music to introduce and reinforce new lessons. I also believe that any child can reach his/her maximum when given the right opportunity.

While completing my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Idaho, I was often called upon to tutor people within the building where I lived during college. I also was employed by the University to grade papers and offer assistance to underclassmen in the Chemical Engineering department.
