I believe learning is a two-way process. It needs to start with a student who has a true desire to learn and then, of course, the teacher needs to have a true desire to bring about the learning. A successful combination will result in mastering of concepts and development of skills as opposed to simply reciting facts. I believe students will more readily learn if the subject matter is made relevant to the world they live in. I firmly believe teaching requires structure. In that regard, the learning process requires a sequences of steps.
