A Little Bit About Me...

I am kind of new to teaching. I have taught my little brother everything he knows, and I've been told I have a really good way of teaching. Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. I am very easy to get along with, so the student will have no problems with me. Altogether I am a very patient smart person eager to help new students learn; and if you want to have fun while learning, then I am the perfect tutor for you.

I am an empathetic listener with a penchant for learning. A successful tutor needs to be an effective listener, one who is capable of figuring out the solution from the student's perspective, using terms and words that the student can relate to, making deceptively difficult concepts not so difficult to understand. A lot of times, all the student needs is a little help defining and assimilating new information presented to him, and I see myself as a facilitator of that process.
