English ESOL is one of my top subjects! I have taught ESOL at school for nearly 30 years and worked as a tutor with all ages of students from Elementary and Middle School grade levels all the way up to college students and adults.

I tutored kids who were lagging behind the rest of the class at school as well as advanced language learners and helped them get ready for regional language contests. One of my achievements I believe is my excellent work with high school seniors to prepare for centralized testing. But the experience I value most is when my students who were performing about average gradually integrated into the rest of the class. My comments on tutoring English ESOL : I have over 15 years of tutoring and teaching experience, and one of the subjects I teach is English as a Second Language. I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others to learn. I don't believe in "I can't do it" or "I can't learn". 15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have been tutoring for over 15 years both in students homes or at public locations such as coffee shops or the public library. My education and experience are broad. I was educated at "Ivy League" level schools and purposefully educated myself in a large variety of the humanities, which in essence all tie together. Basic courses up through most High School material outside of the Humanities are not difficult. Actually, while my education has been primarily in the Humanities, the material I see the most in tutoring is Algebra and Geometry!

I have tutored in Reading for elementary students. I have also taught Psychology for over four years at two community colleges. I taught many students with diverse backgrounds. I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. My vocabulary, spelling and reading skills are very strong. I have utilized this in different jobs and volunteer positions I have held. I taught anger management classes at a Rehabilitation Facility for women. I also taught pre-k at the elementary school near Fort Hood, Texas, while stationed there. I have been with the military community as a Navy child, an Army Captain in the Reserves and an Army Spouse.
