My comments on tutoring Earth Science : Perhaps my most enjoyable class since you get to take a good look at all the components that make up our world! In addition, I taught Earth Science as a High School Science Teacher.

I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. In addition, after school hours were spent with two students taking AP Biology classes. Both students achieved a 4 or higher on their placement exams. My tutored students reported an increase in their ability to record class notes, study, and take tests. My comments on tutoring Earth Science : Earth Science was my favorite subject in high school. I am very interested in ecology and environmental studies.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. As I graduated from college with my California State Teaching Credential,I was able to teach 2nd grade for the Los Angeles City School District for three years. During that time I sought to gain as much experience and expertise as possible to prepare me for teaching in a school for missionary children overseas.
