I have been fluent in Spanish for more than 30 years. I was a bilingual (Spanish) 4th grade teacher for the last 7 years, as well as an ESL teacher for kindergarten - 6th grades. I absolutely love reading, especially reading children's books or novels with students. I also love discussing books and helping students to understand the meaning behind the author's words. My classroom experience with Special Education started while in college at Illinois State University, where I gained very valuable experience teaching in a variety of classrooms.
