As a Georgetown University graduate with a degree in government, I have extensive knowledge of various social sciences which I plan on taking to law school. In addition, I am a near-native speaker of Italian and am proficient in Spanish. I have a passion for both languages, and would love to be able to share that passion with students. I tutored students extensively throughout high school and currently tutor students in a variety of subjects.

I like teaching one on one. This makes it easier for me to explain to the student and understand them. Smaller groups also work well for me. I was a hands on student that learned through images and repetition. I believe this is a good way to learn not memorize. If you memorize you will forget, and that is pointless in the long run.

I would say that all people are capable of learning and improving their abilities, knowledge, and skill. My experience has been that if a child, youth, or adult is given the space in which to learn, and introduced to material in a patient manner, in the style that works for them (be that through explanation or visual learning, etc) they will take the initiative to learn and grow at the pace and direction which works for them. I have earned a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor and an MS in Science Education. I also possess my Initial Educator Certificate in 7-12 Biology. I have experience with middle school, high school and college level students in classroom settings, but prefer the one-on-one setting where I can concentrate on helping students.
