A Little Bit About Me...

I think that a good educator is the key to success in a child's life. I can still remember my second grade teacher (Ms. Golf), she made learning fun and seemed like everyday was an adventure in her class. Sadly, not all teachers are like that. I do believe that all children learn in different ways. I think that if a child is given a chance and shown some patience, there isn't anything they can't acheive. Children should be guided in learning. They have short attention spans and I think learning should be made fun in order to hold their attention. I want to make a difference in a child's life, like Ms. Golf made in mine.
I have always been an overacheiver in school. I believe in education and I am constantly trying to learn something. My tutoring experience has been limited to tutoring Spanish. I am also very well read and have extensive experience in the business world.

More About This Tutor...

I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.
I have not taught anyone or tutored anyone for money. However, I would like to have the oppitunity to be able to tutor children or young adults on their way of the journey of life. I too was tutored going through school and not just once. I attended Sylvin Learning Center every other year since sixth grade. It helped me understand the areas that I didnt and excel in the areas I did. I would like to give thas opportunity to someone else.

I enjoy all facets of business. I teach more as a coach pointing out ways to improve while at the same time controlling the balance of a stable learning environment. I like to use real world/real-time examples because those types of examples are in front of us everyday are very easy to relate too. I also believe in a research based approach, which looks at a subject matter from many different perspectives. Different perspectives can translate into multiple opportunities to change information that might be difficult to understand into information that is easily understandable.
