Currently a sophomore in High School, I'm looking to tutor up to around the 6-7th grade levels. I have very much experience in science especially. Currently in biology Honors. Math, Science, Civics, and Art are my main specialties. For a cheaper rate, I also love to teach art. Also language-wise. I have a year of French, as well as a semi-year of Spanish that I can teach beginners, perhaps give them a head start on what is to be in High School. I think that a good educator is the key to success in a child's life. I can still remember my second grade teacher (Ms. Golf), she made learning fun and seemed like everyday was an adventure in her class. Sadly, not all teachers are like that. I do believe that all children learn in different ways. I think that if a child is given a chance and shown some patience, there isn't anything they can't acheive. Children should be guided in learning. They have short attention spans and I think learning should be made fun in order to hold their attention. I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student.
