I have been in the field of education for approximately 14 years of which the last 8 years have been special education. I have worked with students of all ages, on all skill levels and many with learning disabilities through 8th grade. I was a high school art teacher for two years and I worked in a college library for four years. I am able and willing to work with students of all ages. I love the fact that, as an individual I can or could possible change the way kids learn. I usually want the child to feel comfortable, but yet show them who is in charge. Every child learns in different ways, therefore I am always willing to teach in anyway possible to get the child rolling in their studies. If a game or just using objects to help kids learn then we will do so. Every child is unique in their own way and everyone learns differently, no one child is ever the same. We all strive to be the best, but it takes time to be the best, therefore I like to take the time to get to know the individual at a personal and professional level.
