I have been teaching for about 7 years and through that time I have learned an extensive amount not only through in-services and training classes, but through my colleagues. I have a MA in Psychology from Concordia University. My BS in Human Development & Family Studies with a minor in Psychology is from Penn State University. I am currently taking Medical Coding and Billing classes on-line. I have over 15 years experience working with children in all settings (mental health, teaching, tutoring, volunteering etc.).

From a young age, I greatly enjoyed school and excelling in all that I put my mind to. To this end, I have earned a BS in Psychology and a minor in biology, both with Honors, and am applying to continue my education in graduate studies. A Little Bit About Me...

I am more capable as a teacher and mentor to students in middle school and high school. While I have a lot of experience with elementary students, I find my best impact on middle and high school students. I like to use the Socratic method in which I try to make the student answer there own question, by posing other logical questions in which they can deduce the resolution.
As a graduate of the University of Florida, I studied Physics and played football as well. Earning a Bachelors degree in Physics, I studied all levels of Calculus, Differential equations, linear algebra, thermal physics, electromagnetism, chemistry 1 and 2, mechanics, quantum mechanics, and many other classes.
