As a graduate and substituting, I am driven to become a proud member of the Masters program in Education. I have extensive experience on school improvement committees and after-school activities/programs. I have years of experience teaching grades K-12. I have been working with youth for over ten years. As a private music instructor and substitute teacher I have had the opportunity to work with students K-12 with a wide array of abilities. During the school year of 2009-2010 I was a para-professional in a Kindergarten PDD class (pervasive development disorder/autism) where I helped administer IEP directed lessons for 8 children on the spectrum. I have developed lesson plans for both my private students and the music production programs I've directed for the past 4 years.
