I took ENG 111 and 112, college english classes, in high school as a duel enrollment class. I also took survey of American literature my first semester of college. In all three classes I wrote many papers and got good grades on all of them. I also had to write a 25 page term paper and received an A on the paper. I feel that I have very good and experienced writing composition skills. I receieved and A in all three classes. What I try to do first is get the student to work out the problem, and as they are doing that I will work the problem as well. We will go over our answers together so I have a chance to explain the problem to the student. I believe that repitition and practice makes perfect as long as you have someone to explain it along the way. I will thoroughly explain the problem to the student if they don't understand it.
