Determined and experienced writer and copy editor. Excited to assist children of all ages as well as professional adults in the craft of writing. Proficient in Chicago Manual of Style, MLA, and Associated Press. Previously worked as copy editor and content manager for Broad Street Magazine and Blackbird online journal of literature and the arts. I currently hold an MA in Literature Research and Writing as well as a BA in English Language, both from Virginia Commonwealth University. Experienced in fiction and nonfiction writing, screenwriting, and academic writing. I am an after-school counselor at the local JCC where I supervise children (K-middle) and tutor in homework.
