Depending on the course and student, I vary my teaching style from the Socratic Method (with a lot of questions and answers between the student and me), as well as utilizing real world examples to reinforce concepts. An experienced tutor who knows how to make learning fun!

I have over four years of experience as a reading tutor, two years as a behavioral assistant tutoring an autistic child in language, math, and reading, and am currently tutoring students in basic math and reading. I have volunteered in many hours in several first grade classrooms, and am currently in school to get a teaching credential.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : I am in the process of becoming an elementary school teacher, therefore I am familiar with the lesson plans within K-5th grade.

I am a Sophomore attending Sonoma State to receive my Teaching Credential and Bachelors in Liberal Arts within four years. I have over seven years experience teaching within a classroom, and teaching students one on one. I really love to teach and I not only can teach mostly everything in an elementary school, and some subjects in middle school and high school, but I also have a lot of experience in extracurriculars.
