I had always wanted to be a teacher. I taught for 13 years in the Mobile County Public School System at one school. I then took time off to raise my children. I worked for 12 years at St. Luke's Episcopal School teaching English and History. My next assignment was with Cottage Hill Christian Academy for nine years. While there I taught English, U.S. History to juniors, government/economics to seniors, and psychology to juniors and seniors. At present I am teaching middle school language arts in an alternative school. I teach to the student. That is I get involved with teaching to each student's learning style.
