I am a secondary math teacher. I use several different teaching methods in my classroom to ensure I reach as many students as possible. I also worked at Sylvan Learning Center until it closed. I tutored for all levels of math. I helped students at the elementary level with the learning program. I also did individualize tutoring for high school students who came in for homework help. I also helped with some college level courses including college algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. I did the ACT prep program as well as tutored for several other college entry exams. When most high school seniors were registering for classes, they had an easy agenda planned. My intentions were entirely different. Ever since I was young, I have always found joy in mathematics. Number puzzles, real life applications, and the teaching of math are all fascinating and enjoyable to me. I later returned to school to get a Master's degree in Operations Research, a mathematical modeling discipline.
