Teaching is my passion and I have been always successful in my teaching career helping students with encouragement for their bright future utilizing my teaching skills with loving and kind attitude towards students.
I worked as a University Lecturer in the University of Yangon, Myanmar from 1977 to 1987. I worked as a private home tutor in Singapore (1992-1993) teaching G.C.E chemistry and elementary subjects and also in Bangkok, Thailand from 1993-1995. I received a certificate of "TESOL-Teaching English to speakers of other languages" in Bangkok. I also worked as a part time instructor in ECC Thailand teaching ESL. I worked as a Business English teacher in Hotel Management School and St. John's College in Bangkok while I was staying there before I came to U.S. in 1996.

Ever since I was young, I have always found joy in mathematics. Number puzzles, real life applications, and the teaching of math are all fascinating and enjoyable to me. I studied mathematics and economics in college so I could work on more advanced quantitative problems for a career. I later returned to school to get a Master's degree in Operations Research, a mathematical modeling discipline. While I tutored some as a undergraduate student, I really began teaching and tutoring mathematics during the past two years. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a very laid back, easy going person. My teaching style typically incorporates both written and visual so there is something for all types of learners. The student has the answers, I merely guide or tweak those answers to get the correct expressions. There is always a way to explain a concept to get the underlying comprehension for everyone.
I have extensive knowledge in the Sciences with six years of biology classes behind me. I have also tutored fellow students in Biology and Chemistry while earning my bachelor's degree. From there, I taught Biology labs (General Zoology, Marine Vertebrates) while earning my master's degree. And now, I am a college Anatomy & Physiology professor.
