I am a graduate of St. John's University with a major in Spanish. Before attending college, I lived for a year in Venezuela, learning to perfect my spoken Spanish. While in college, I perfected my written Spanish through my degree and a semester living in Guatemala. I currently work as a Spanish interpreter and hold a liscense by the Minnesota State Court Interpreter Program. I am a firm believer that if a student really wants to learn, and accepts a challenge, they can learn a language faster in a few months than most people can over the course of an entire school career. I believe that people learn in different fashions. For example, I feel that some concepts may be better explained with tangible objects while other concepts are learned better when questioned and discussed.
