I currently work and teach in a private high school in the Knoxville area. I teach upper level math and science as well as middle school math and science. I also have much experience with elementary students. I student taught with an elementary teacher. I am currently getting my degree in Secondary Education. Teaching is my passion. I love teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Although I have only formally been tutoring for about 6 years, I was a tutor all through my childhood helping other children learn when I finished with my classwork. Since first grade I have always wanted to be a teacher, although my brain tried to steer me in a different direction in college. Yet, my heart brought me back to teaching. I am very considerate of every child no matter their weakness; however I play close attention to their strenghts and play off those strenghts in the classroom.
