I currently work and teach in a private high school in the Knoxville area. I teach upper level math and science as well as middle school math and science. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and tutoring children of all ages. Although I have only formally been tutoring for about 6 years, I was a tutor all through my childhood helping other children learn when I finished with my classwork. Since first grade I have always wanted to be a teacher, although my brain tried to steer me in a different direction in college. Yet, my heart brought me back to teaching. I am very considerate of every child no matter their weakness; however I play close attention to their strenghts and play off those strenghts in the classroom. I believe every child has a desire to learn deep within them, some just have to remember how good it feels to learn, especially when he or she has tried so hard.
